Christopher Smith is an attorney and the founder of TheOptionClub.com, an on-line options trading community and educational website.  He is an avid trader and options educator, and has maintained an active law practice since 1993. 

His investing and stock trading career began shortly before the 1987 market crash, which impressed upon him the dangers of a “buy and hold” approach.  He began his study of options at the University of San Diego’s School of Business and in 2003 began helping others discover the benefits of using options to control risk within their trading accounts and portfolios. 

Mr. Smith is a graduate of the University of San Diego as well as Santa Clara University’s School of Law.
